BEAUTY IN BLACK IS STILL BRINGING THE HEAT — AND SEASON 4 IS ALREADY ON THE WAY

If you thought the Bellarie family was finally going to run out of money, secrets, enemies, wigs, lies and absolutely terrible decision-making, think again.

Tyler Perry’s Netflix drama Beauty in Black has become one of those shows you turn on saying, “I’m only watching one episode,” and suddenly it’s three o’clock in the morning and you’re personally offended by something a fictional Bellarie just did.

And apparently Netflix knows exactly what it has.

The streamer renewed the series for a fourth season before Season 3 even premiered, making it clear that Kimmie, Mallory and the rest of this beautifully dysfunctional crew are nowhere near finished creating problems for themselves — or for us.

Season 3 arrived on Netflix on August 27, 2026, dropping eight episodes at once, and viewers wasted absolutely no time jumping back into the madness. The season reportedly opened with 13 million views during its first week, giving Beauty in Black its strongest debut yet.

So yes, people are watching.

A LOT of people are watching.

And it really isn’t hard to understand why.

At the center of the drama is Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, whose life has changed dramatically since audiences first met her. She entered this world simply trying to survive, but she has steadily moved deeper and deeper into the powerful, dangerous and ridiculously complicated Bellarie empire.

Then you have Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, who somehow manages to look like she belongs on the cover of a luxury fashion magazine while simultaneously giving off the energy of somebody who might destroy your life before her afternoon meeting.

Put those two women anywhere near each other and you already have enough tension for a show.

But Tyler Perry said, apparently, “Why stop there?”

So we also get family wars, money, business power struggles, betrayal, revenge, blackmail, federal trouble, buried secrets and enough questionable choices to keep viewers screaming at their televisions.

Season 3 pushes Kimmie and Mallory into an uneasy alliance while trouble closes in around the Bellarie business empire. And if you know this show, you already know an “alliance” does not necessarily mean anybody should start trusting anybody.

That would be far too peaceful.

And peace has never exactly been this family’s specialty.

The series has continued building a strong audience since its debut. Earlier seasons spent weeks inside Netflix’s global Top 10, proving that this isn’t simply a show people sampled once and forgot about.

Viewers keep coming back for the mess.

And honestly? The mess keeps earning its paycheck.

Now comes the question everybody wants answered:

When are we getting Season 4?

Netflix has officially confirmed that another season is happening, but the company has not announced an official premiere date yet.

There are, however, signs that things are moving quickly.

Production reporting has indicated that Season 4 is expected to film in October 2026, with Atlanta and Chicago among the reported filming locations.

And because this is Tyler Perry we’re talking about, nobody should expect production to move at the speed of a traditional television drama.

This man can apparently film chaos faster than most of us can organize a closet.

If the currently reported production timeline holds, industry estimates have pointed toward a possible spring or summer 2027 release.

That part is still only an estimate, though. Until Netflix puts an actual date on the calendar, consider it educated speculation rather than a confirmed premiere.

But one thing is confirmed:

Season 4 is coming.

And considering Season 3 delivered the show’s biggest opening yet, Netflix probably isn’t eager to let the Bellaries disappear for too long.

Because at this point, Beauty in Black has figured out exactly what kind of show it wants to be.

It is glamorous.

It is ridiculous.

It is dramatic.

It is occasionally so messy that you need to remind yourself these people are fictional.

And somehow, that is exactly what makes it fun.

So while we wait for Netflix to announce the official Season 4 date, one thing seems certain:

Kimmie isn’t finished.

Mallory isn’t finished.

The Bellarie family definitely isn’t finished.

And Tyler Perry apparently still has several gallons of gasoline left to pour on this fire.
